Meet Desiree
Hello, I'm Desiree Stephenson and I'm an Associate Real Estate Broker at Keller Williams Foothills, LLC. Having dreamed of living in the mountains of Colorado since I was a child, hearing stories of when my parents lived and worked here, that dream became a reality in 2016 when our family relocated from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the beautiful state of Colorado.
Attention to detail, dedicated customer service, diligent work ethic and positive attitude are just a few of the things I bring to the table to help navigate my clients through the home buying and selling process in Colorado. Prior to real estate, I spent over 15 years in furniture & interior design helping manage a high-end furniture showroom. Asthe main buyer for all the furniture and home accents, I was responsible for negotiating buying contracts with vendors, shipping rates and more. In addition to staging a 20,000 SF showroom, I also helped with the marketing, web design & customer service concerns.
After moving to Colorado, I decided to pursue my interest in real estate. While studying for my license I also remodeled a section of our home into a guest suite and became a short term rental host. After earning Airbnb Superhost I started working full time as a Logistics Coordinator as well as doing real estate part-time once I was licensed. Seeing the success of our first short term rental, we purchased a second property in November 2021 which I remodeled and started renting earlier this year with great success and an approximately 90% occupancy rate!

I adore the beauty of Colorado and understand the draw from all over the world. I consider myself extremely fortunate to live here and enjoy connecting with those relocating to the area, first time home buyers and clients interested in the short term rental business. I realize for many that buying and selling a home is the largest transaction they will ever make and there are many questions and concerns along the way. I got into real estate to help guide clients understand the process and feel confident in the transaction process and build relationships.
In my off time, I enjoy gardening, hiking, kayaking, picture taking, playing with my dogs and just about anything else that lets me enjoy the outdoors and beauty of Colorado nature.
